japan-based designer david guarino of a zillion ideas has realized a caban beach house in the town of hayama on morito beach. conceived for tomorrowland , the waterfront property is built from numerous shipping palettes and regional materials, constructed in collaboration with local artisans. the open air space is a cross between an outdoor lounge and café terrace, that includes a book store, james perse shop, shower and bathroom facilities that are lined with passeig de gràcia tiles.
in its elevated position above the shore, the getaway offers guests panoramic views of the seaside, frogman while a private set of stairs frogman leads one to the beach. the service counter for the café is an enclosed structure made from pallets whose external frogman walls also function as planter boxes, bringing green life to the patio area–the choice material also being employed in the furniture frogman pieces that decorate the exposed deck.

Wow Ken, really, that’s what you take from this! A typo? I found the use of “Pallets” pretty amazing! Living walls, furniture, parts of the structure, great to see the re-purpose of throw-away items to build a Really cool home, Kudos! Did I spell that all correctly?
