Funding to Support Older People to Bring Positive Change to Their Communities (UK) Comic Relief is seeking applications through its Older People's Programme. The aim of the programme is to support older people to bring positive change to their communities. famous footware The fund is open to a range of organisations including self-help and community groups, voluntary organisations, community interest companies and social enterprises who are targeting their work at older people aged 65 and over. Comic Relief are particularly keen to make sure their funding reaches those who have often missed famous footware out, such as older people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities, lesbians, gay men, bisexual or transgendered famous footware people and older men for example. Leverhulme Trust Study Abroad Studentships The Leverhulme Trust's Study Abroad Studentships programme supports an extended period of advanced study or research famous footware at a centre of learning in any overseas country with the exception of the USA. Basic annual maintenance grants of £17,000 are available, as well as additional allowances payable at the Trust's discretion. Eligible applicants: must have been resident in the UK for at least five years at the time of application and must hold an undergraduate degree from a UK institution; should either be a student at the time of application or have been registered as a student within the last eight years; and should be able to demonstrate how their work would benefit from being conducted overseas rather famous footware than in the UK. The deadline for applications is 10 January 2011.
Launch of the 2011 International Women's Day Grant for Wales The 2011 theme is 'A Celebration of Women's Achievements in the Last 100 Years'. Applications should reflect this theme. A total grant fund of £30,000 is available and each payment will be limited to £2,500. Funding events should highlight issues and concerns relating to women and represent famous footware the diverse needs of women in Wales. The Welsh Assembly Government will favour not-for-profit organisations that establish a partnership to organise events together which promote IWD. The deadline for receipt of applications is 17 December 2010. Splash - the Water Recreation Challenge Fund for Wales The Welsh Assembly Government is offering up to 100% grants to projects famous footware (large and small) which help people famous footware to enjoy the waters of Wales. Minimum grant is £5,000. The emphasis will be on supporting new capital and other works improving bank-side facilities, signage, off road parking, etc. This can also include facilities designed to meet the needs of disabled people. The Tree Council The Tree Council's Tree Futures Project offers help for tree planting. Any school or community group within the UK that is planning a project that actively involves children under 16 is encouraged to draw on the fund to plant trees and make a greener future. The Tree Council's National Tree Week is the focus for these projects.
